Wedding Arch

A wedding arch is typically used at wedding and is the area where the couple stands to recite their vows. The wedding arch also has a framing capability which directs all of the attention towards the couple. The arch itself is made of metal, wood or plastic (depending on the style of the wedding) and is ordinarily decorated with items such as:

  • flowers
  • straw
  • lights
  • greenery
  • fabric

The wedding arch provides a nice complement to any wedding ceremony as it is usually at the front and center of the aisle itself. The wedding arch can add another exciting element to the décor. If you are having an Oceanside wedding, your arch could contain seashells and starfish. If you are having a wedding in a beautiful secluded garden then a wedding arch trimmed with beautiful flowers that match your wedding colors would be ideal. The choice of décor of wedding arches is very broad as they can be constructed to match any taste and theme.
The idea of the wedding arch is for the couple to stand underneath it while reciting their wedding vows. It is also very useful to direct the guests’ attention to the couple. The wedding arch is not mandatory and can be used in outdoor and indoor ceremonies. The wedding arch can be made in a variety of styles to suit the tastes of the bride and groom. The wedding arch is helpful to establish the focal point of the wedding. The wedding party will be able to easily pinpoint where they are supposed to stand during the ceremony. As stated before, the wedding arch is not required but does add a little something to the décor of the ceremony itself.
