Tiki Torch - Tiki Torches
A tiki torch is a tall typically bamboo pole about five feet in height. A tiki torch is used for lighting and because of its design has a very tropical feel making them perfect for beach parties, picnics or other outdoor evening events.
The tiki torch itself has a top fuel reservoir with a lid and a wick allowing the torch to burn for several hours. There is fuel inside of the bamboo pole itself which allows the wick to burn. To extinguish the flame, you would simply close the lid of the reservoir. The tiki torch can be pushed into the ground for stability but because the pole itself is hollow it can fall over in high winds due to its top heavy torch. As a precautionary measure use only tiki torch fuel in a tiki torch, which can be found at any hardware store or other facility where tiki torches are sold.
A tiki torch can also be filled with citronella (a natural insect repellant) to rid your outdoor area of annoying insects during an outside event. The tiki torch will not only provide spectacular lighting with a tropical feel but will keep insects at bay.
