Space Heater - Gas Heater
A space heater is a portable heater that uses natural gas to heat an outdoor area. It can be turned on and off at one’s leisure and is typically used at events to heat an outdoor area where guests are expected to gather. Space heaters come in a variety of sizes but are usually eight to nine feet tall so that guests will not burn themselves. They also have a weighted bottom for sturdiness and wheels for portability. Event planners should be extra careful in a party situation especially if people are dancing and drinking. These heaters could leave a nasty burn especially if someone were to fall on them. Nonetheless, space heaters come in handy and are necessary for an outdoor event during the fall or winter.
It doesn’t matter how fabulous your party is, if your guests are cold it will totally kill the party mood. Event planners should decide how many heaters to use based on the area of the space that they would like to heat. If you are trying to make an outdoor area cozy enough so that your guests do not have to wear jackets then you will need to supply more heaters than you think. The heaters can definitely heat a space and if your guests are hot you can opt to shut some of them off. It is better to be able to turn off the ones you have instead of wishing you had more to turn on.
Some electric heaters use an electrical outlet and emit a hot breeze of air. This is effective but not as commonly used in the event planning industry because if you have access to an electrical outlet; your guest might as well be inside. Outdoor venues are very popular, especially with a view, and your guests shouldn’t have to forgo the experience because of the weather. Buy electric heaters! The heaters can be manually adjusted for even the most flimsy dressed. They come in a variety of sizes and are helpful because people can still enjoy an outdoor event without being uncomfortably cold.
