Menus Tray Passed

Tray passed refers to the food service option in which our staff walks around with food on trays through your guests so they can sample food as they wish. They are always upsides and downsides to any type of food service but tray passed service works best if people are mingling with drinks and are just arriving. The food often goes fast on the trays and it is essential to have enough servers in different parts of the area so that everyone is able to have some of the food being served. Sometimes one server can literally be hounded once their tray is replaced with a new batch of food which means other people don?t even have a chance to get any.

The great thing about Event Solutions is that we can tell you which type of food service is best for your event based on the number of expected guests and the venue as a whole. It is also important to consider the timing of an event. If tray passed appetizers are a good option for you, then our event planners will suggest what types of food to serve based on the theme of your event and the time of day. Every part of your event could be catered to the theme if you wish. For instance, if your picnic has a Mexican theme we could serve different types of quesadillas, shrimp cocktail and guacamole with chips on trays. If your picnic has an Asian theme we could serve pot stickers and vegetable tempura.

There is no doubt that our tray passed appetizers are delicious. We come up with the most decadent foods and desserts that everyone will be hankering for the food as soon as it comes out. The key is to have enough servers so that everyone can sample enough of the food to hold them until the main course.
