| Wait Staff | Caterers who serve, replenish, answer questions about the menu, attend to special guests requests and make sure that the food service runs smoothly |
| Waiter Stand | a metal or wood stand used to place waiter trays on top of. The top of the stand has two rails to support the tray which extend to form the legs. |
| Waiter Tray | A flat tray where food is placed for serving. Waiters usually balance the tray on the palm of their hand to bring it to the table and then lower it to take the food off. Casual trays usually have a rubber surface so that the plates will not slip easily off of the tray. Trays can be very fancy and decorative like a silver tray. |
| Water Pitcher | A plastic or glass serving cup with a large round bottom and a portionately smaller neck used to pour liquids. This serving tool is helpful when serving drinks such as water, to make refills more effective. |
| Wedding Arch | An arch made of metal, wood or plastic that the wedding couple stands underneath to say their vows. The arch is usually decorated with flowers and fabric that are in line with the wedding colors. An arch is not mandatory but looks nice and helps to direct the guests attention to the bride and groom. An arch is very often used in outdoor wedding ceremonies. |

| Wine Chiller | A small metal or plastic tub filled with ice where white wine is stored to keep it cool after being open or to keep it cool at a table or serving station.? |
| Wine Dispenser / Decanter | A container used during an event to dispense the same kind of wine to guests. Wine dispensers are used for large quantities of people to make serving wine easier. The dispenser makes it so that servers do not have to continuously open the corks of wine bottles. |
