Glossary of Event Planning Terms - E

Entrée The main course of a meal which can include a meat, vegetable and a starch. The entrée can also be the biggest food option, for instance at a picnic, the entrée can be hamburgers and hot dogs with a choice of french fries or potato chips.
Event Manager The person who oversees everything during the event to make sure everything is going as planned.
Event Planner The person who plans and maintains the budget, arranges vendors and makes certain all components come together for the client at an event.
Event Staff The team who supports the event manager at the event. This staff would be responsible for serving food and drinks, setting up the décor andt ables, running day-of errands, checking in guests and any other activity.
