ARBOR MANOR

Overview:
Arbor Manor can lend a Victorian atmosphere to any wedding receptions, ceremony, shower, or
any other function. Its patio holds 275 for seated events with Victorian era chairs provided.
Dining can be done indoors and outdoors, however, music is only allowed in the ball room. For
wedding ceremonies, there is a gazebo at the base of a wooded hillside with hedges, floral
landscaping and a 20 ft. waterfall.

BARKIN COUNTRY ESTATES

Overview:
This Escondido estate is comprised of two acres of land overlooking the San Pasqual Valley.
The home is designed with a country theme and includes full kitchen facilities, a pool, a hot tub
and a landscaped garden. The estate accommodates events for up to 200 people.

CAMARILLO RANCH

Overview:
The centerpiece of this four-acre ranch is a restored Victorian mansion that was built in 1892. The
mansion has two stories and a wraparound porch and holds 165 for receptions and 125 for
seated events. The front lawn with its century old trees holds 600 for receptions while the garden
holds 250.

CASABLANCA MANSION
Anaheim Hills, CA
Overview:
This Orange County mansion features seven bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a large pool and
Jacuzzi, a media room with a 1000-inch television, a two story library, four indoor waterfalls, and
a turnaround driveway with a fountain. The home is furnished by Versace and boasts of city and
ocean views. The entire property holds 250 people.

DESCANSO GARDENS

Overview:
This home was once owned by E. Manchester Brody, the publisher of the L.A. Daily News. The
private garden houses one of the largest collections of camellias in the world. The rose pavilion
is encircled in over 5,000 rosebushes and accommodates groups of 250 for receptions. The
front lawn and garden area is the most commonly used area for events.

EDWARDS MANSION

Overview:
The Edwards Mansion was once a boarding house built in 1890. In 1973, the home was divided in
two and moved to the Old Barton Ranch in Redlands. It was then restored to its original splendor
and has now become a popular site for events. Also available are the white party pavilion, the
gazebo and the gardens.

GOLD MOUNTAIN MANOR

Overview:
This mansion was built in 1928 by Hollywood movie investor, Alexander Barret. The 6,000 sq. ft.,
three-story home is situated on a full acre of ponderosa pine. The mansion features seven guest
rooms and wood burning fireplaces. The mansion can accommodate 40, while the outdoor space
accommodates 75.

GREYSTONE PARK & MANSION

Overview:
The Greystone Park and Mansion was built in 1927 by oil tycoon Edward Doheny for his son. It
has since become a national landmark. Venues for events include the garden area for 400, the
inner courtyard for 200 for receptions, the pool area for 150 for seated events and the terrace for
60 for seated events.

GUASTI VILLA

Overview:
This villa is located in the district of Guasti, one of California’s largest wine-producing regions.
The showpiece of this estate is the inner courtyard. It is decorated with red tiles, hand-finished
ceiling beams and ivy-covered columns. The villa holds 350 for seated events and 200 for
receptions. The entire property holds 1,000 for seated events and 2,000 for receptions.

HISTORIC CREE ESTATE

Overview:
This hacienda estate was built in the 1930s by developer Raymond Cree. The house sits on two
and a half acres of land with the walls made entirely of adobe. The estate features a pool area
withy a black-bottom swimming pool, another pool with a swim-up bar, a built-in dance pavilion,
a Spanish fountain and apricot and orange trees. The entire property accommodates up to 200.

IVY HOUSE
705 South Inglewood Ave.

Overview:
The Ivy House at over a century old is easily one of the oldest houses in the area. Once a
farmhouse, the building is now primarily white with pink and aqua accents. A major draw of the
property is its series of walled gardens. The separation makes each garden feel like its own
outdoor room. Another attraction is the property’s fountains. They are synced with a concert hall-
quality sound system to create a small scale Bellagio-like water show. The house holds 120 while
the garden holds 500.

JONES VICTORIAN ESTATE

Overview:
This Victorian estate was built in 1881 and has become a landmark in the City of Orange. The
property includes a wine cellar, a courtyard and an adjacent water tower building. There is a 972-
foot drive lined with bougainvillea, rosebushes and holly trees and enclosed with wrought-iron
vintage Viennese gates. The entire estate accommodates groups of 200.

KELLOGG HOUSE POMONA

Overview:
This home was built in 1926 and designed by Rose Bowl designer Myron Hunt. The home’s
owner was none other than Will Keith Kellogg of Kellogg’s brand cereals. The home has been
fully restored to its original splendor including the hand-painted ceiling details and the wrought-
iron banisters. The home is located on the Cal Poly Pomona campus and holds 120 guests. The
garden terrace accommodates an additional 200 guests for seated events.

LA VENTA INN

Overview:
This Palos Verdes property has experienced its share of history since its creation in the 1920s. It
was originally a clubhouse, then a weekend retreat for Hollywood stars like Cary Grant, then a
World War II lookout point for the Coast Guard. Today it is owned by the New York Food
Company who holds events and caters for the inn. The inn and its gardens accommodate groups
of up to 250.

LINDLEY-SCOTT HOUSE

Overview:
This private Georgian-style estate offers a charming backdrop for weddings and receptions. The
estate recently added a carriage house and lawn designed to blend in seamlessly with the
existing home. The garden holds 200 for seated events and the carriage house ballroom holds
an additional 200 guests indoors.

MANDALAY PALMS ESTATE
Malibu, CA
Overview:
This beautiful, oceanfront private estate makes an ideal location for outdoor events and
receptions. Though the Victorian home is generally unavailable to rent, it provides a picturesque
background to any of the property’s outdoor venues. The property features a formal lawn that
holds 400 for seated events, a secluded beach patio that holds 50, ocean views and the shade
of cypress trees.

Overview:
This downtown L.A. luxury loft is a converted 1924 automobile showroom. The 5,000 sq. ft.
space now features urban design aesthetics, 18-foot wood trussed ceilings and brick walls. The
space also features a gourmet kitchen, HD digital cinema, a premium sound system and private
patio and a large yard space.

MAXWELL MANSION

Overview:
This property is a Mediterranean Italianate mansion in Pasadena. It was built on the original
grounds of the Vista del Arroyo Hotel, a very successful hotel in the early 1900s. The main
ballroom and the dining room hold 100 guests for seated events while the entire space holds 200
for receptions.

McCORMICK HOME RANCH
Camarillo, CA
Overview:
This Colonial home and ranch has been hosting special events for four generations of
McCormicks. The home sits on eleven acres of land with eight of those dedicated to avocado
trees. The ranch’s two gardens are decorated with rustic garden furniture and birdhouses. The
ranch’s current owner Sally McCormick offers her collection of vintage table linens and baskets
for rent. The entire property accommodates 250.

McGRATH RANCH & GARDEN

Overview:
This Craftsman-style house was built in 1908 for the McGraths, one of Ventura’s founding
families. The property has been in the family for four generations. The home has a New England
feel with its white clapboard siding and white picket fence. The gardens are filled with lemon,
orange and pumpkin orchards and colorful floral arrangements. The property holds 250 people.

MUCKENTHALER MANSION

Overview:
This Italian Renaissance-style mansion was built in 1924 on nine acres of land in Fullerton. It was
later donated in 1965 to the city for use as a cultural center. The mansion holds 200 for
receptions and 120 for seated events. The outdoor spaces hold 600 for receptions and 400 for
seated events

RANCHO DE LAS PALMAS

Overview:
The showpiece of this property is its pavilion. To get to the scenic pavilion, guests enter through
leaded -glass French doors. The pavilion features a lagoon with three fountains and a miniature
tropical island. To get to the island, guests walk over a rope bridge adding to the whimsical
atmosphere. The entire property holds a total of 350 people.

RANCHO SOL DEL PACIFICO

Overview:
This Malibu property features a Mediterranean villa and a tile and brick courtyard for over 1,000
guests. The villa sits on a hilltop and features sweeping 360-degree views of the mountains and
ocean vistas. On the property, there is a passageway leading to a colonnade featuring a waterfall
and koi pond. There is also a tennis court and lighthouse.

RED ROCK CHATEAU

Overview:
This four acre estate provides an ideal location for indoor and outdoor events. The property
offers 360-degree views of Trabuco Canyon’s red and pink walls as well as views of the ocean.
Venues include the 3,000 sq. ft. of indoor space and two levels of decks that offer views of the
canyon and ocean. The property allows only 150 guests for events.

SANDACRE ESTATE

Overview:
The Sandacre Estate was once the Palm Springs getaway of Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio.
The Spanish-style estate is enclosed by remote-controlled wooden gates. Just beyond the
gates, guests are greeted by a large elegant fountain. Paths lead from the garden to the
swimming pool and the stone terrace with a brick barbeque and fireplace. The Great Lawn,
surrounded by grapefruit trees and the beginning of olive trees, is also available. The entire
estate accommodates groups of 600 for receptions and 400 for seated events.

STONE MANOR
Malibu, CA
Overview:
This manor features stone archways covered in bougainvillea, flagstone pathways, an abundance
of fruit trees and a pool area. The Garden House with its stone pavilion and open-air terrace is
the most popular space for events. The entire property holds 100 for seated events and 150 for
receptions.

THE HIDDEN CHATEAU & GARDENS

Overview:
The Hidden Chateau was built in the 1930s by a silent movie star for his wife. The building was
originally intended as a horse stable but was later converted into a chateau. The entire property
spans one and a half acres featuring stone paths, gardens and a colonnade with stone
archways. The chateau can accommodate 300 guests.

THE KNICKERBOCKER MANSION
869 Knickerbocker Rd.

Overview:
This Mansion is located on a hill just south of Big Bear Lake Village. The hideaway is situated on
two and a half acres of rolling hills and trees. Although the place has seen some work, it has
maintained much of its original characteristics. The ceilings and walls are covered with the
original wide wood paneling, the fireplace is covered in its original native rock and the log
stairway remains unchanged. The mansion holds 40 indoors during the winter months and 150
outdoors during the summer months.

THE MARTIN JOHNSON HOUSE

Overview:
The Martin Johnson House is a historic rustic cottage on the campus of the Scripps Institution of
Oceanography. The main draw of the location is the view and the cypress trees surrounding the
entire property. The house was built in 1916 but later remodeled to function as event space. The
entire property holds 150 people.

TWIN PALMS SINATRA ESTATE

Overview:
This 4,500 sq. ft. mid-century modern home was built in 1947 for Frank Sinatra and Nancy
Barbato, his wife at the time. The home has three bedrooms, seven bathrooms, sliding glass
doors leading to a patio and a piano-shaped swimming pool. The sound system is original to the
home, however, it is not currently functioning.

VILLA CASA BELLA
Santa Barbara, CA
Overview:
Villa Casa Bella is located in the oceanfront gated community of Santa Barbara’s Hope Ranch.
The villa features a marble alfresco kitchen, a garden pergola and a mosaic tile pool. The entire
property can accommodate 250 people.

VILLA ROUCHELLO
Santa Barbara, CA
Overview:
This multi-leveled estate is located in the Santa Barbara Riviera. The first level of this peach-
colored estate features a circular dining room with wall-height curved windows and jade marble
walls. Just outside the dining room is a flagstone courtyard with tropical flora and a fountain.
The second level is a landing overlooking the fountain. The third level features a Romanesque
pool.

VILLA TOSCANA

Overview:
This estate is located in Malibu and holds a total of 125 guests. The most frequently used space
is the rear garden. To get there, guests walk through the vaulted foyer and great room. The airy
loggia and adjacent terraces feature polished mahogany and French limestone floors. The
centerpiece of the outdoor space is the Romanesque tiled swimming pool surrounded by the
tiered lawns, tiled terraces and the ornate staircases.

WATTLES MANSION, HOLLYWOOD HERITAGE

Overview:
Wattles Mansion, built at the turn of the century, was acquired by the preservationist group
Hollywood Heritage in 1983. The mansion is situated on 49 acres just below the Hollywood Hills.
Its décor, with its black and white checkerboard marble floor and white stucco walls, is very
reminiscent of Old Hollywood. The main room inside the mansion holds 200 for seated events
and the garden holds 300 for receptions and 200 for seated events.
