Overview
Chef Eric Crowley, graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, has been in business since 2003 teaching professionals and novices alike in the art of food. He offers professional and recreational classes, corporate and private events, and summer kids programs. Best of all, students get to eat what they create. The kitchen and class sizes are small, holding only 20 people at a time.

Overview
This cooking academy adds an interesting twist to the intimate cooking class industry, celebrity chef! Their celebrity chef series brings in Southern California’s top innovative chefs to share their menus, skills, and artistry. The kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and cookware; some of which can be purchased in the retail store next door. Each class holds up to 40 students.

Founded by Leslie McKenna, Chefs, Inc. has catered events for entertainment industry executives to U.S. presidents. Chefs, Inc. boasts of a state-of-the-art culinary studio with eight fully equipped kitchen workstations. Small class sizes and hands-on instruction are a focus. Experience is not necessary.

Overview
This cooking facility offers an open floor plan with five kitchen workstations and can hold up to 50 students. They offer beginners classes, workshops, professional programs, as well as corporate and private events. Workshops are hands-on and open to the general public and private events include hors d’oeuvres, a cooking class, and the concluding meal.

This cozy facility offers professional and recreational cooking classes, cheese and wine tasting, wine and food pairing classes, as well as an on-site retail store and café. Classes are all hands on and can take up to 10 students at a time. Private events, however, can take up to 24 participants with 12 at a time in the kitchen.

This new 5,000 sq. ft. showroom has teamed up with Laguna Culinary Arts to offer hands on cooking programs to cooks of all levels of experience. Classes include seasonal cuisine, romantic dinners, hors d’oeuvres, global dishes, and most recently, wine and cheese pairing.

Overview
This Wine and Culinary Center is located in San Diego’s recently restored Gaslamp Quarter. They offer food samplings, culinary classes, seminars, tours, chef demonstrations, as well as wine and cheese tasting. The center includes an indoor facility that holds up to 300 for receptions and 150 for seated events. They also offer two private dining rooms that hold up to 80 people each and an outdoor patio that holds up to 200.

This location of the popular retail chain is located in the historic Farmers Market in Los Angeles. The Farmers Market offers lessons on how to use the gadgets and cookbooks sold in the store. They also offer a cooking and tasting series and private cooking classes for 25-40 people.
