The California Science Center provided the perfect setting for this cutting edge event! Guests had the opportunity to mingle throughout the “The Big Lab” and the modern indoor garden on the second floor.
Guests dined on succulent cuisine including Sautéed Breast of Chicken with A Portabella Cream Sauce, Slow Roasted Tri Tip with a Red Wine Demi Glaze, Vegetarian Moussaka, Field Green Salad with Cranberries, Candied Walnuts and Crumbled Blue Cheese, Vegetable Long Grain Rice, Steamed Asparagus with a Classic Hollandaise Sauce, Fresh Baked Dinner Rolls with Sweet Butter, Flourless Chocolate Decadence Cake with Fresh Berries and Cream, Traditional English Bread and Butter Pudding With Seasonal Fruit and Fresh Cream, and a Cup of Joe to top it off.
Each dining table was exquisitely decorated with rose petals and votive candles for a simple yet elegant setting. The disc jockey played great music for dancing throughout the entire event. A strolling magician entertained the guests with slight of hand magic, while caricature artists captured cartoon images of the guests and costumed Christmas carolers filled the venue with holiday cheer.
For the younger guests, an area designated as the Teen Zone included lounge furniture, a large gaming screen with Playstation II games and controllers, a foosball table, and a pool table. And for the even younger guests, a Kids Zone was created with two skee ball machines, a giant twister game, a holiday arts and crafts station and a game leader dressed as an elf that provided hours of entertaining games and consolation prizes.
