Coffee Station

A coffee station is a table or area set up by a caterer at an event where guests can help themselves to an assortment of coffee and condiments. A coffee station is usually a part of the buffet at an event which allows guests to serve themselves at their leisure. The coffee station might be separated from the rest of the buffet and can usually be fit into any budget. You can also serve gourmet coffee at your event, which of course would be more expensive. This way, guests are free to drink coffee whenever they need to, not just with dessert. Coffee stations also allow guests to make their own coffee exactly how they would like. Examples of items typically served at coffee stations are:

  • Creamer (also nonfat)
  • Flavored Creamer
  • Sugar
  • Regular Coffee
  • Decaffeinated Coffee
  • Milk

A coffee station could also serve a variety of hot drinks such as:

  • Specialty coffees
  • Teas
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Apple Cider
  • Honey
  • Sugar
  • Creamers
  • Whipped Cream
  • Milk

A coffee station is sometimes set up next to the dessert station because a lot of people prefer coffee with their dessert. A coffee station can also be offered through out the event especially if it is at a luncheon or other similar dining experience. A coffee station also keeps your servers from running and back and forth to get cream, sugar and milk for everyone’s coffee.
