Cocktail Straw
A cocktail straw is a small plastic straw used to consume an alcoholic drink or other beverage served in a small glass. Cocktail drinks are usually served in pint glasses so they need a small straw comparable to that size. Cocktail straws usually have a smaller opening because you are expected to sip alcoholic drinks, not gulp them as if you were drinking out of a soda straw. Cocktail straws can be bought in bulk and are usually provided for guests at the bar of an event. Cocktail straws can also be used for mixing the contents of an alcoholic drink. Some alcoholic drinks need to be mixed otherwise all the alcohol will settle to the bottom of the glass and makes for an unpleasant drink. The cocktail straw however is sturdy enough to mix the contents of a drink and is completely disposable.
