Aisle Ropes and Aisle Stanchions

Aisle Ropes are used in conjunction with aisle stanchions at an event to section off certain areas to either prohibit guests from entering or to encourage them to stay in a certain area. Aisle ropes can also be used in front of a venue or at a buffet line to create lines for people to stand in. Aisle ropes helps to organize a space. The aisle ropes can be made of any type of cloth, metal links or plastic and have hooks on the ends so they can be easily manipulated and rearranged. Because of their varying length and manipulability, aisle ropes along with stanchions allow any shape to be made or any area to be sectioned off. Aisle ropes can come in different colors to match the décor of your event and are highly necessary at events with a large amount of people. If your venue is very spacious and guests are not allowed to wander outside of the immediate party area then an aisle rope and stanchion should be placed a strategic entrances and exits. Aisle ropes are a very polite way of saying, “Do Not Enter.” You can also have security to stand at the rope to make sure people do not unhook the rope.
Aisle ropes are very useful in front of a venue in the check in or valet areas. The aisle ropes and stanchions can be arranged in rows so that people can easily and quickly find some order in the chaos. They will immediately understand that they have to wait in line for further assistance. Aisle ropes are also useful near the food areas. You can use them to again, denote lines or to section off certain areas until you are ready to service your guests. Aisle ropes and stanchions are especially important in VIP areas. They allow the section to be sectioned off and it is clear that area is off limits without being impolite. It might also be necessary for a bouncer to stand at the rope to monitor access though as a rope can easily be unhooked for the stanchion. Aisle ropes and stanchions should be used to:

    • Section off prohibited areas of a venue
    • Denote check in lines
    • Denote buffet lines
    • Denote valet lines
    • Create a central space
    • Denote VIP area
